My favorite piece of tech changes regularly. Twitter has always been my go-to since 2007 BUT because the world is changing and the people I’m interacting with are to, the tech also changes.

I’ve just started #KidsKonnect Ukraine through Http://MoveUkraine.org to build a bridge and outlet for Ukrainian kids to talk with US kids. Frankly, it’s just to allow kids to be kids despite living through war.

We connect students from both countries weekly via a zoom call and the kids are starting challenges on TikTok with each other just to lighten things up in a very dreary existence. IG is also a big tech outlet for them where there’s a level of comfort.

For the US kids (we’re adding schools, clubs, home school groups and individuals at middle, high school and college levels weekly) they’re learning about Ukrainian culture and the similarities and differences between youth on both sides. Then there’s geography, civics, economics, music, video gaming etc as well. Video as you can imagine is high priority.

Anyone interested in participating in KidsKonnect Ukraine 🇺🇦 please reach out. The more the merrier!
