The cost of hyper-convenience is escalating and despite the cost to brands it’s a basic requirement and more than that expectation both in and outside of organizations. I like the way Abhijit Bhaduri framed hyper convenience in our personal lives- it’s immensely difficult to ignore and hugely challenging to implement and ensure it’s at the forefront of the way we all conduct business.

This isn’t theoretical for me because this morning, SUNDAY- my intended day of rest, a client alerted me to a pending crisis. As I tell all my clients, it’s not a matter of if but of when. And crises never come at conveniently scheduled times. They don’t care if you’re ready or not and #socialmedia accelerates, increases the volume, and scope.
